Wednesday we had a lesson with Joey. He said he had read the introduction... Then he read the three witnesses... So awesome! He loved the Plan of Salvation! He is came to church too and loved it! He's super willing to repent and come closer to Christ!
Thursday we woke up at 6 am and played basketball. Went and volunteered at the VA. Then went and taught new investigators Jimmy and Anita Delbridge. Afterwards we went and watched a webinar at the church about smartphone questions and comments and ideas. It was all of the missions all over North America. Super cool things are going to happen.
Sunday we had church and went around with Joey. We had a fireside with Bronson Kaufusi. Former BYU football player now Baltimore Ravens player. We went with Joey to that. He loves football and so it was his best day of his life.
Today we went to a FHE with Joey and introduced him to some more members. He's just been really enjoying himself haha. He's super awesome and really nice.
I love to hear from y'all and hope yall have a good week.

Week 28
Miracles in Martinsburg!
This week has been super cool.
We had found this investigator the previous week. His name
is Joey. We taught him the first lesson and it went well. Except one cool thing
happened. We committed him to be baptized on May 12th.. in the first lesson! We
followed up with him and he's reading and praying about the BoM. So he's truly
progressing towards that date!
We also met this lady tonight. I felt like we needed to walk
down this certain street. Then Elder Jacobson said we should knock this certain
house. Then this lady answered but she said, " Right now is a bad time, my
daughter just died a few hours ago."
It was super cool to testify to her that families can be
together forever through Christ. And that the BoM will alow us to come closer
to Him. So we have an appointment for tomorrow. Hopefully that will go well. Let
ya know next week.

Week 27
Well this week has been a fun one.
It has basically been raining non-stop. Plus it's allergy
season. And on the east coast it is a 100 X worse, because there's a 100 X more
plants. Elder Jacobson gets super bad allergies so we had to stay in a couple
days.
We did pick up a new investigator on the street named Joey.
So that was pretty sweet!
Monday we went to Harper's Ferry. Which is super cool. Whole
bunch of history there! There were some BYU students there so that was a weird
coincidence!
I had to give a talk on Sunday. The second counselor said I
would just need to bare my testimony and introduce myself. But then Saturday he
called me and said that the high counselor wants me to give a talk. So I had
to prepare a talk in less than 24 hours. And also that Sunday I got to teach
gospel principles. So people just got to listen to me all Sunday. I'm so sorry
for them haha.
We also had the opportunity to teach some Jehovah witnesses
yesterday. Definitely do not recommend it haha. Won't even listen to
ya...

I know it is so important that we have the gospel in our homes. That is where our children will learn most about Christ and his teachings. As we teach our children and raise them in a spiritual environment they will be able to recognize truth and know of their divine potential.
The best way we can know how we can teach our children is by listening to modern day prophets. They receive revelation from God for us and our families. That's why I included this talk from Brother Devin Durrant about teaching our children in our homes.
As you listen to this talk, please recognize something that you could work on as a current parent or as a future parent.

Week 25
Well these couple weeks in Martinsburg have been awesome!
Lots of stuff has happened.
The first two days I was here it snowed non-stop.
It snowed a foot and a half. We were snowed in for two days!
We also went to Antietam battlefield.
We do yoga every Monday morning.
We play volleyball every
Saturday morning.
We volunteer are the veteran hospital. And on the fifth floor
they have a lot of old people they take care of. We are their friends. We talk
to them and and wheel them around. There's two guy's in there who are over 100
years old! One of them, every time we ask him how's he doing. He says," I'm
old." Haha they're super funny and awesome to talk to.
The people in my district are Elders Walgamot, Teske, (and
my companion) Jacobsen. And we have Sisters Stringam and Eborn. They're all
great missionaries.
The ward's awesome and we eat a tons here. I can already tell
that I'm going to gain some weight here!
Conference was awesome! Some new changes coming up that I
know are a part of the hastening! All of the changes are just like the changes
to PMG (Preach My Gospel). I'm super excited for it all to happen!

Week 106!
Wow... It has flown by! I cannot believe how quick it has gone. 2 years, 106 weeks, 741 days. I wouldn't trade it for the world. It has...
